Birdwatching is without doubt our specialty. With active listening and a quiet pace, the trails give up a great number of birds in all their colours, shapes and sizes.

There are several locations and the birder chooses: Iguazú National Park, Urugua-í Provincial Park, the Salto Yasy Reserve, Laguna Sánchez and even other protected areas of our province. We build the outing around the species you are looking for, from a straightforward morning to the hunt for the most elusive birds.

We start at your accommodation: we pick you up and drop you back when we are done.

On these lower-impact activities transport stays with us the whole way and, if birds show up, we stop to watch them through the binoculars.

Groups are of up to eight people and always go with a specialised professional guide. Bookings are made twenty-four hours in advance and the outing depends on good weather.

Options

  • Early Birding

The crepuscular species open the way at first light, and as always we come to your accommodation to head into this wonderful world of feathers and song. We watch the birds free, and get to know their habitat and behaviour. With the day birds up we have breakfast in the forest, and the thermals tell us it is time to head back. This one is for everyone: it makes no distinction of age or expertise.

  • The Forest at Night

Owls, potoos and nightjars are some of the species we can find in the thick of the night, but now and then we are surprised by amphibians, reptiles and even mammals. Come out after dark and meet the biodiversity by moonlight. The activity depends on good weather.

Equipment and safety

  • Suitable clothing, personal protective equipment and a handheld radio.
  • On these lower-impact activities transport stays with the group the whole way, with its driver.
