The experience starts at your accommodation: our staff picks you up at the hotel and you set off on the adventure, with a trained professional guide who stays with you all day.

On a 35 km drive (40 minutes) south towards the town of Puerto Libertad, your guide walks you through what the day holds — a comfortable stretch in which you will learn about the culture, history, flora and native fauna, crossing part of Iguazú National Park and Puerto Península Provincial Park.

Once at the destination, you enter the Salto Yasy Reserve, a private conservation unit belonging to the heritage department of Compañía Arauco S. A. The reserve holds 320 hectares of native rainforest and protects the course of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the north of the province outside the Iguazú Falls.

Roughly 18 metres high, the waters of the fall come down in a spectacle of their own, forming a natural pool that invites you in for a swim. The trails around the fall are ideal for getting into birdwatching, butterflies, ethnobotany and Guaraní culture.

Two people paddle a kayak on Lake Urugua-í at sunset.

Leaving the reserve, it is time to get on the bikes: the forestry land around it offers easy circuits, a shaded woodland of low-difficulty dirt roads. On mountain bikes you ride roughly 3 km to the lake shore, where the kayaks are waiting.

The last activity is on Lake Urugua-í, a mirror of still, quiet water of some 90 km², a striking setting for coastal wildlife and a beautiful sunset, aboard sit-on-top kayaks, on a route of no more than 5 km (1½ hours). Back on shore you enjoy a coffee break while getting ready to head home.

This one is for adventurers willing to walk, sweat and get a little dirty with our red earth. You can pick and choose the disciplines when you book: combine them as you like and we will fit around you.
